Say hello to the improved East Cobb Braves

This is the first in a series of writeups profiling our WiffleATL teams leading up to Opening Day.

First Up: The East Cobb Braves

Little known fact that they will have exclusive access to the new Sun Trust Park as their "practice field" starting in 2016.

Team Captain Edward "Teddy" Bowling is optomistic about his squad this year. Despite losing their number 1 starter Jake, the team returns three core players returning. David "Big E" Emadi has been named staff Ace after Jake left the team to go pro in Seattle.

The team addressed a key weakness in their lack of depth - last year they struggled to put more than 3 or 4 players together. This year the team added five new players including 2 new pitchers and 3 new hitters. Together they are hungry for a shot.

Building on their late success from last season their goal is simple: Compete every game and shock the league.

At least one Brave will compete for rookie of the year this year.

Prediction: (10-10) 4th Place Finish
