Dodgers Disbanding! New Team Taking Their Place!

After three years in the league, the Dodgers are closing shop. Due to the loss of player base and a general lack of energy for organizing a team, Dodger front man Blaine Milam has decided that his efforts are better spent playing for a team instead of running one.

With a franchise record of 32-27, an MVP, at least 5 first ballot Hall of Famers, a 2nd overall ranking in the NWLR, and a Championship in 2010, the WATL Dodgers have left their mark on the league.

Like their namesake, the WATL Dodgers always put together strong pitching staffs: Neil Bowen, Grant Yarborough and Blaine Milam in 2009, Blaine, Grant, Ben Warner and Brian Donegan in 2010, and Blaine, Grant, Ben and Rookie of the Year Brad Brickhouse in 2011.

Blaine has already declared himself a free agent, and as such, his agent is currently fielding offers. WATL great Grant Yarborough intends to play in 2012 and is also looking for a place to land, for at least the first half of the season. Ben Warner, game 3 winner of the 2010 series, and left-handed specialist is likely retiring but could possibly be talked into coming back for the second half of 2012. 2011 R.O.Y. Brad Brickhouse is branching off to form his own, yet to be named team.

Thanks to everyone,
Blaine
