Pirates make a Free Agency splash! No, no one was pushed overboard

The Pirates, now under the leadership of Jordan Kadrie (again), have added league legend Grant Yarbrough for the 2012 season for an undisclosed contract and considerations. Kadrie hopes to shore up both the hitting and pitching sides of the Pirates' game with the addition of Yarbrough. As well, Ashley Watts, a rookie, has been added and looks to be a welcome supplement to Stephen Wolf in the field and a firecracker in the batting lineup. What this all means is that, for the first time in a long time, the Pirates will have a full five-man roster for the season; and the Pirates fans swoon at the possibility, the hope, of them returning to the championship for the first time since 2007.
